Helping you look well, feel well and age with confidence.
Dr Hazel is a General Practitioner and Aesthetic Doctor with over 25 years of medical experience and specialist expertise in dermatology, women’s health and the changing skin of perimenopause and menopause.
She founded Dr Hazel Skin Solutions with a simple purpose: to provide treatment that is medically safe, results-driven and emotionally supportive, with natural results at the heart of every decision.
Her patients choose her for her warmth, honesty, anatomical precision and her ability to make subtle adjustments that restore freshness rather than replace identity.
Medical Training and Expertise
Dr Hazel has over 25 years of experience working in medicine, with a career spanning NHS general practice, community gynaecology, dermatology and advanced aesthetic medicine.
She graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), alongside a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci). She qualified as a GP in 2007 and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Following her GP training, Dr Hazel undertook postgraduate specialist training in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary University of London, completing a Postgraduate Diploma at the internationally recognised Blizard Institute for Skin Research, where she graduated with distinction. She has worked as a Community Dermatologist and developed a strong clinical focus on complex skin conditions, inflammatory skin disease and hormonally driven skin changes.
Dr Hazel now divides her professional time between her NHS role in Community Gynaecology, supporting women with menopause, perimenopause and gynaecological health, and her private practice at Dr Hazel Skin Solutions. This breadth of clinical work allows her to bring a truly holistic, medically grounded approach to skin health and aesthetic care.
Dr Hazel holds a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments and has undertaken extensive advanced training in medical aesthetics, regenerative treatments and cosmetic dermatology. Dr Hazel is trained in menopause care and is a member of the British Menopause Society and the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum. She is also an Associate Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing.
Highly regarded within the profession, Dr Hazel has significant experience interpreting and applying clinical data, ensuring that all treatments offered are evidence-based, carefully selected and supported by robust safety and outcome data. She uses only premium-quality products and devices that meet UK regulatory standards and have undergone appropriate approval processes for clinical use.
Dr Hazel has won multiple industry awards recognising her clinical expertise, patient-centred care and contribution to menopause-focused aesthetic medicine. She has published in peer-reviewed academic journals, writes regularly for professional publications, and is a sought-after speaker at national conferences. In addition, she trains and mentors other healthcare professionals, sharing her expertise in safe, ethical and evidence-based aesthetic practice.

Why choose Dr Hazel
Choosing the right practitioner is about far more than treatments alone. Dr Hazel brings together over 25 years of medical experience, specialist training in dermatology and women’s health, and advanced expertise in aesthetic medicine to offer care that is safe, thoughtful and deeply personalised.
What truly sets Dr Hazel apart is her holistic, medically led approach. She understands that skin changes, ageing and concerns around appearance are often closely linked to hormones, lifestyle, stress and overall wellbeing, particularly during perimenopause and menopause. Every consultation is unhurried and thorough, with time taken to listen, assess facial structure, skin health and underlying factors before recommending treatment.
Dr Hazel is known for her calm, reassuring manner and honest advice. She will always tell you what she believes is in your best interest, including when a treatment is not appropriate. Her focus is on subtle enhancement, restoring balance and helping you look refreshed and well, rather than over-treated or artificial.
Safety sits at the heart of everything she does. Treatments are grounded in detailed anatomical knowledge, evidence-based protocols and high-quality products that meet strict UK regulatory standards. Follow-up care is attentive and supportive, ensuring patients feel confident and looked after at every stage of their journey.
Above all, patients choose Dr Hazel because they feel listened to, understood and cared for. Many describe leaving consultations feeling lighter, more informed and reassured, with a clear plan that feels right for them.
Dr Hazel’s Ethos
“I believe aesthetics should never be about changing who you are. It’s about helping you look refreshed, confident and comfortable in your own skin. I take time to listen, explain and guide, so together we can create results that feel natural, safe and truly you.”
