Sunekos® Skin Booster in Warwickshire

Advanced Sunekos Skin Booster for Skin Rejuvenation

Regenerate, Repair and Rejuvenate for Radiant, Healthy Skin

At Dr Hazel Skin Solutions in Long Itchington, near Leamington Spa, we offer Sunekos – an injectable treatment designed to rejuvenate, hydrate and restore your skin’s natural radiance from within.

Unlike traditional skin boosters or fillers, Sunekos is a patented combination of hyaluronic acid and essential amino acids that stimulates your own fibroblasts to produce fresh collagen and elastin. The result is smoother, firmer and more luminous skin, without altering your natural features.

What Makes Sunekos Unique?

Sunekos stands apart from traditional skin boosters and fillers because it works at a regenerative level, not simply a hydrating or volumising one.

It is a patented combination of non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and six specific amino acids, carefully formulated to support fibroblast activity. Fibroblasts are the key cells within the dermis responsible for producing collagen, elastin, fibronectin and other essential components of the extracellular matrix – the structural framework that keeps skin firm, resilient and youthful.

Sunekos contains both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which are kept separate within the formulation. This allows each to perform a distinct role without competing for the same cellular receptors.

The higher molecular weight HA supports antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity within the skin. This helps calm subclinical inflammation and reduce oxidative stress, both of which accelerate collagen breakdown and ageing.

The lower molecular weight HA supports cellular homeostasis, meaning it helps maintain a balanced, healthy internal environment in which skin cells can function optimally.

Together with the amino acids, this dual-weight HA system stimulates the production of multiple types of collagen, as well as elastin and other structural proteins. Rather than simply adding hydration, Sunekos helps remodel and strengthen the extracellular matrix, encouraging skin to behave in a healthier, more resilient way.

This makes it particularly effective for crepey, delicate or thinning skin, and an excellent “priming” treatment before other procedures such as dermal fillers, radiofrequency microneedling, anti-wrinkle injections or chemical peels. By improving skin quality first, subsequent treatments often perform more effectively and produce more refined, natural-looking results.

Sunekos doesn’t just improve how the skin looks. It improves how the skin functions.

Treatment Areas

Sunekos is suitable for multiple areas of the face and body, including:

Under-eye area (dark circles and fine lines)

Face and neck

Décolletage

Hands

Inner arms and knees

It’s particularly effective for the eye area, where many other injectables are unsuitable due to the thin, delicate skin.

Sunekos Body and Sunekos Cell

In addition to facial rejuvenation, we also offer Sunekos Body and Sunekos Cell for targeted treatment of the body.

Sunekos Body

Sunekos Body is designed to address skin laxity and crepey texture in areas where collagen decline or structural changes have occurred. Common treatment areas include:

  • Inner arms
  • Abdomen
  • Thighs
  • Above the knees

It is particularly beneficial following weight loss, pregnancy or age-related collagen reduction. Like facial Sunekos, it works by stimulating fibroblasts to improve collagen and elastin production, helping skin become firmer, smoother and more resilient over time.

Sunekos Cell

Sunekos Cell is formulated specifically to improve the appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite is extremely common and entirely normal in women, due to the way female connective tissue is structured. However, for some women it can affect confidence, particularly in swimwear or during holidays.

Sunekos Cell works by supporting collagen and elastin production within the extracellular matrix of affected areas. By improving skin structure and elasticity, it helps smooth and refine the appearance of dimpled or uneven skin in a natural, regenerative way.

As with all Sunekos treatments, results develop progressively as the skin’s own biological processes are stimulated.

Treatment Course and Maintenance

For best results, Sunekos is performed as a course of three treatments, spaced 2–4 weeks apart.

Each session builds on the previous one, improving hydration, elasticity and fine lines.

Results develop gradually, becoming more noticeable over several weeks as collagen and elastin levels increase.

To maintain your glow and collagen support, a maintenance session every six months is recommended.

Treatment details

First, we will conduct a comprehensive consultation before treatment.

Next, we will take your photographs, complete your medical history, and obtain your consent for treatment. After cleansing, applying a topical anaesthetic and then cleansing again. Treatment involves a series of small, precise injections using a fine needle.

You may notice mild redness or small bumps immediately after treatment, which typically settle within a few hours.

There’s little to no downtime, and you can return to normal activities the same day.

Results & Recovery

After your first Sunekos treatment, you’ll begin to notice a subtle improvement in skin hydration and brightness within about 7–10 days. Over the course of the full treatment plan, results build gradually as collagen and elastin production increases.

By the end of your three-session course, most patients see visibly smoother, firmer and more radiant skin with improved elasticity and a reduction in fine lines or crepey texture.

Because Sunekos works by stimulating your skin’s own regenerative processes rather than adding volume, the results look natural and progressive, continuing to improve for several weeks after your final session.

There’s minimal downtime – you might notice a little redness, swelling or small bumps immediately after treatment, but these usually settle within a few hours. Most people return to normal activities the same day.

For long-lasting results, a maintenance session every six months is recommended to keep your collagen activity and hydration levels optimised.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Sunekos® treatments will I need?

Sunekos® is performed as a course of three treatments, spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Each session builds on the previous one, gradually improving skin hydration, elasticity and fine lines.

To maintain results, a maintenance treatment every six months is recommended.

Sunekos® contains both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, which are kept separate within the formulation. This prevents competition for the same receptors, allowing each to work optimally.

Combined with amino acids, this stimulates collagen and elastin production, delivering true skin regeneration rather than hydration alone.

Yes. Sunekos® is particularly well suited to the under-eye area, where the skin is thin and delicate. It improves crepey texture, fine lines and dark circles without adding volume or risking puffiness.

Many patients notice improved hydration and brightness within 7–10 days of their first treatment. Results continue to improve over several weeks, with optimal results seen after completing the full three-treatment course.

Downtime is minimal. You may experience mild redness, swelling or small bumps at the injection sites, which typically resolve within a few hours. Most people return to normal activities the same day.
